Hi everyone!

I have finally hit a new benchmark. I have hit a 1000 pageviews on my gallery and I only have you guys to thank for. I really value all your support. Each and every favorite that you have given only motivates me more to keep working on my skills. This new bench mark further strengthens my will to keep giving you more of my work.

I want to thank each of you individually who made this possible and I know I have been slacking in returning a BIG thanks to all those who have fave'd my pictures in the last one week. I will get back to all of you personally. I have been taken up by my class schedule and the after works.

I also want to thank all of those who have featured my work in their journals or news articles. That has really provided me with more exposure and the appreciation I get from that is just tremendous and heart warming.

In all, I cannot thank you enough for making this possible. I will put up some more of my work in the coming weekend and hope that you guys like it and keep me motivated!

My name is Rohit. I have been into photography since my dad introduced me to it about 10 years ago. I love taking pictures in the dark. I also love taking portraits and some landscapes as well. I really want to get into macro photography one day if I am able to buy a proper lens for it.

I am also big on the whole save the earth movements and that is why I have chosen this picture (I took this during Earth Hour 2009) to represent what I feel is my responsibility to give back to this planet.
